The best time to visit Haridwar is from october to March, when the weather is pleasant. But during the year, Haridwar experiences a mild environment , allowing the devotees to engage in various ceremonies and rituals. If you are a pilgrim, the best time to visit is during July’s Kanwar Mela, and October’s Diwali.

How to Reach Haridwar

The Jolly Grant airport at Dehradun is the Nearer airport to Haridawr. In these two locations run buses and cabs. Alternatively you can get to the Rishikesh Railway Station by train. Rishikesh and other cities / towns in Uttaranchal can also be reached by bus from Delhi.

By Road – Haridwar bus station is the nearest to get connectivity with the city and with the rail network as well. Here buses and taxis are easily available.

By Train – Haridwar Railway Station is another source that lets the visitors visit the city through an easy to follow train connectivity system between Delhi and Dehradun city. Trains run on daily basis to and from the city.

By Air – You can reach Haridwar by using flight system that lands you at the Jolly Grant Airport Dehradun that is located at a distance of 30km from Haridwar. The Jolly Grant Airport is also well-connected with Delhi by regular flights.
