Itinerary

We’ll drive up to Dwarka in the morning. Visit Jamnagar on the way and the Hanuman Temple in Bala.

The Temple of Bala Hanuman is a sacred place revered by Lord Ram devotees. This is one of the best known temples recognized for Jai Ram or Shri Ram’s nonstop chanting. The chanting began in 1964, and has never stopped since. The temple has thus got a spot for this record in the Guinness Book of World Records. Here, men chant the name of Lord Ram in waves, 24 hours a day.

We will begin our drive to Dwarka, after visiting the temple. Look inside the hotel upon arrival. We’ll be attending Aarti and Darshan at Dwarkadhish Temple in the evening. A stop at the hotel, overnight.

Early in the morning we will visit the Dwarkadhish temple for Aarti and Darshan. Later we’ll be back for breakfast at the hotel. We will move you to the Jetty after breakfast, to board the Bet Dwarka boat.

Bet Dwarka, also known as Bet Shankhoddar, is at sea just 5 km from Okha Junction, and Okha is about 30 km from Dwarka again. The place is believed to be the location where Lord Krishna lived with his family at Dwarka while he ruled. It’s also the location Vishnu killed Shankhasura the devil. Here tourists visit the Temple of Krishna which has a significant religious significance.
Later, we’ll return by boat to the jetty and drive back to Dwarka. En-route, we will visit the Mahadev temple in Nageswar. The Puranas mention 12 Jyotirlingas or columns of light representing Lord Shiva, who in that form manifested himself in different parts of India. This Lord Shiva shrine near Dwarka is among the 12 Jyotirlingas.

Further, our move to Dwarka will continue. Check into the hotel for an overnight stay upon arrival.

We will visit the Rukmani Temple in the morning-the Temple of the wife of Lord Krihsna. Later we’ll be back for breakfast at the hotel. We will depart for Ahmedabad after breakfast. We’ll drop you off at your own preferred location upon arrival at Ahmedabad.
