Overview

You will be visiting some of the state’s finest cities on your 7 night 8 days journey to Bhutan. Starting with Phuentsholing, this bordered town of South Bhutan is often called the Himalayan Kingdom’s abode of kings and queens. There are a number of places to visit in the town which will give you an insight into the diversity of Bhutanese, Nepalese and Indian cultures.

The place is the Kingdom’s capital and although the place is known to become a growing modern city, it retains its cultural aesthetics. Talking about Wangdue and Punakha, both cities are surrounded by hills. Both of these places offer a variety of tourist attractions to visit that you will cherish on your trip. Eventually, Paro, the picturesque little town in Bhutan’s picturesque country, is untouched by forest and wild trees. It is said that your travel to Bhutan will remain incomplete if you haven’t visited Paro.

If you’re interested in visiting a place free of all the noisy city’s hustle and bustle, Bhutan, a paradise with natural wonders and warm-hearted people, is your destination. So, we have a schedule for you in which you can refresh yourself by spending a whole week in nature’s lap. In addition, this itinerary will take you to beautiful spots like Phuentsholing, a perfect blend of traditional and modern lifestyle, Thimphu, the place of cultural values and identity, and Paro, the picturesque view valley.

Itinerary

On arrival at New Jalpaiguri (NJP)/ Bagdogra Airport (IXB) meet and greeted by our representative and transfer to Phuensholling (Distance 175 kms 4-5 Hrs). On the way we will drive through Dooars — Phuentsholing / Phuntsholing, the 2nd largest city in Bhutan is on the border of India. Next city of Jaigaon — Phuentsholing is the point of entry for travellers to Bhutan. Upon arrival at Phuensholling check in the hotel and take rest. In the Evening free for your own activity. Overnight stay at Hotel.

In the morning after breakfast Tourist Permit and all the paper work would be done at Phuentsholing. Later we will proceed for Thimphu. It is approximately 175 kms and is nearly 06 hours’ drive from Phuentsholing town. Thimphu is Bhutan’s capital and largest city; it has a population of 104,200. En-route you will see Water Falls & Natural Sightseeing, Chukha Dam (Top View). On arrival check in the Hotel overnight stay.

In the morning after breakfast we will proceed for the local sightseeing and will cover major Sightseeing Covering like Buddha Point, BBS Tower, Tashicchhoe Dzong, The Memorial Chorten, National Library, The Institute of Traditional Medicine, Centenary Farmer Market, Changlimithang Stadium, School of Arts & Crafts, Handicraft Institute, Zangthopelri Lhakhang, Motithang Takin Reserve (Takin Zoo), Semtokha Dzong. In the evening visit local market at Thimphu. Overnight Stay at Hotel.

Morning after breakfast will proceed for Paro. En route we will take you to the sightseeing of Pnuakha City where you can see Dochu la Pass, Druk Wangyal Lhakhang, Punakha Dzong Wangdue Phodrang, Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten. It’s an administrative center of dzongkhag district of Bhutan. It was the capital of Bhutan. Later we will transfer you to the beautiful city of Bhutan Paro. On arrival check in the hotel and overnight stay.

Morning after breakfast we will take you for the sightseeing of Paro which is called Valley of Bhutan very beautiful place with full of natural beauty. Historic town with many sacred sites and historical buildings scattered through the area. We will take you Drukgyal Dzong, View of Taktsang Monastery, Kichulanka Monastery, Ta Dzong, Paro Rinpung Dzong (Museum), Nya-Mey Zam, Dungtse Lhakhang, Druk Choeding. Evening free for own activity. Trek to Taksang Monastery

In the early morning after leisurely breakfast you can either hike a steeply uphill for 02 to 03 hours to get to the top or ride a Mule/Horse 2 / 3 of the way. On the way you can enjoy tea and snacks. Taktsang, is a prominent Himalayan Buddhist holy site known as the Tiger’s Nest Monastery or Taktsang Monastery. It is a precariously perched stunning monastery on the side of a mountain; it looks like it was built into the mountain itself-Bhutan tours generally save Tiger’s Nest for the last day as it allows visitors time to acclimatize to Bhutan’s altitude. Later back to hotel and overnight stay.

After breakfast in the morning we will visit Border of Bhutan and China): At an elevation of 3,988 meters is considered one of the highest motorable passes in Bhutan. It is about an hour drive along a thickly wooded path, is this Pass-a botanical paradise-The pass provides stunning views of the holy Jhomolhari and Jichu Drake mountains. It’s also distinguished by hundreds of prayer flags floating in the water. Here, tourists can see wild rose cascades; purple and yellow primulas; and swaths of deep blue iris that cover the forest floor. The top of the rhododendron pass bloom in a mixture of pale pink, dark violet, burnt orange, mauve, white and scarlet colours. In the evening visit local market. Overnight stay at hotel in Paro.

In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to Phuentsholling 175 kms drive from Thimpu. On arrival check in the hotel and take some rest evening free to roam around local market. Overnight Stay at Hotel in Phuentsholing.

In the morning after breakfast check out from Hotel Transfer to New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / Siliguri. In route visit the foothills of Himalaya it is plain forested area and beautiful Tea Garden.
