Rishikesh is located on the foothills of Himalayas and popularly known to be the gateway to CharDham Yatra. Road transport: It is well connected with the road to other cities as it is around 245kms away from Delhi and just 50 kms away from Dehradun that is covered by hiring bus by taking the time of around 7-8 hours. The distance from Haridwar to Rishikesh is 30 kms that takes around 45 minutes to complete with the convenience of bus. You can easily get the buses to reach to your destination.
Air transport: By air, you can take Dehradun Jollygrant airport which is the nearest airport located at the distance of 25 kms from the city. You can enjoy daily flights from Delhi to Dehradun.
Railway transport: Though, Rishikesh railway connectivity owes limited trains and serves another means of transport easily. Haridwar railway station offers the closet coverage of the distance by the means of trains like Shatabdi express and Mussoorie express.
