“Buddha Purnima” or the Birthday anniversary of Lord Buddha is one of very auspicious festivals in Buddhism. “Buddha also known as the Gautam Buddha has prominent respect among Buddhist all over the globe. As per Buddhism, he is the God of peace and inner satisfaction. He is also known for creating Buddhism. Buddha, a great saint was famous for his soft heart, and endless knowledge. He got his full control over all the bad habits of human. Also, he got full control over five major enemies that are Kaam, Krodh, Lobh, Moh, and Ahangkar.

Also, he taught others how to find true spirituality in yourself, and how to get rid of those five major enemies. There are various stories about Buddha where he showed the power of Kindness and Love. He taught the world that the Love and Mercy are the two supreme weapons that may make you win over any of your enemies no matter how so strong he may be.

It’s the festival that is celebrated not only in India but also in some other nations such as China, Japan, Korea, and Thailand. It’s really a great festival, the festival of peace, and may feel you with lots of joy, and inner satisfaction. However, this festival is also full of prayer, devotional dances, and so many things just like that of other festivals. But, interestingly it is a very peaceful festival.
