Old Manali

If you want to see Manali’s other side and the tourist town, just take a walk across Manalsu River Bridge and cross into Manali’s section, which is also known as ‘Old Manali.’ The village’s exotic beauty can make you feel like you’ve stumbled into a whole different world. The city has somehow sculpted its own niche and managed to maintain the charm of the old world, where you have the stereotypical world travellers, the hippie vibe in its midst, it also has the customs of the remnants of the older civilisations.
The picturesque atmosphere of the village would make you feel like you stepped into the happy 1960s and the hippie. The paths are lined with swaying Pine trees, and the narrow roads pass through valleys full of greenery. The ambient quietness is only broken by the tweeting of birds and the gush of the Kullu River.
