Phewa Lake

Phewa Lake is Nepal’s second-biggest lake. It is a semi-natural freshwater lake enveloped in the clear waters of the lake by rani ban or queen’s forest and stunning reflection of the mountain ranges of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. The ever so glorious Himalayan sunrises are also a perfect place to experience. For a relaxing trip, one can hire a colorful boat called doonga, and sail through the lake. Despite rising in size over the years, Phewa Lake remains Nepal’s second largest lake.

In the thick forests surrounding the Lake there are also exciting trails which make it a perfect destination for nature walks, bird watching and trekking.
