Museum of Lansdowne

Darwan Singh museum is established at a distance of 400 m from Lansdowne city centre near to Parade Ground, Darwan Singh Regimental Museum is one of the top Lansdowne tourist places. This Museum incorporated numerous memories of antique artifacts belonging to the Garhwal Rifles of India.

Regimental Museum is a historical war museum named after Darwan Singh Negi, who won the famous Victoria Cross for his fearlessly fought war. This museum was inaugurated in the year 1983 to conserve the memories of the Garhwal Regiment. Darwan Singh was the Naik 1st battalion in British Indian Army of 39th Garhwal Rifles during First World War.
