Dirang a beautiful hill station consists of Tribal Mahayana Monapas sharing their similar Western Bhutan traditions and heritage. Dirang is situated in a picturesque valley between Bomdilla and Tawang, and the weather is much milder & pleasant due to its lower altitude than Bomdila. Dirang is a subdivisional headquarters located in the district of West Kameng, well-known for its Hot Water Spring and Apple Orchards apart from its fascinating natural beauty. It is also used as a base camp for watching trekking and birds at Mandla or Madla Phudong, which is about 28 km away from Dirang. Dirang features unique flora & fauna, numerous medicinal plants in this region have their habitat.
