While most tourists prefer a self-driving, It is generally advisable to hire a taxi if the traveler does not feel comfortable while driving on the mountain road.

By Train – Manali has no exclusive railhead. The nearest railway station is Pathankot or Chandigarh. Which is 290 km and 315 km respectively. Although New Delhi railway station is at 500 Kms from Manali, but usually people prefer to arrive Delhi Railway station. because delhi have superior train connectivity from all over the country. There are various Taxi & Bus options available from Delhi or Chandigarh. Once you reach the railway station from your specific area can teke bus or taxi.

By Air – The nearest airport for Manali is Kullu-Manali airport (Bhuntar) at distance of 50 Kms from Manali City. New Delhi & Chandigarh are other nearest & most preferred airports.
