Overview
Satopanth Lake is a holy fresh water lake situated 26 Kms beyond Badirnath and in the circle of the Himalayas. Further to Satopanth Lake lies Swargarohini – the steps to the Heavens. The green water of the lake is a crystal clear and lake shape is like a triangular. This lake is at the 4600 meters above sea level.
This lake is in the middle of snow covered hills which look very beautiful. The Pandavas first undertook this spiritual journey and believed that Lord Vishnu, Lord Brahma and Lord Shiva visit this lake every fortnight to take holy bath. Other holy places such as Chakra Tirtha, Lakshmivana, Vasudhara Falls, Mata Murthi Mandir and many more are located in nearby surroundings.
Itinerary
Morning meet our driver at Haridwar & drive for Badrinath via Rudraprag. On arrival check-in to the hotel for the overnight stay.
Early morning after Darshan proceed to Mana Village. After reaching start the trek to Laxmivan besides the Vasundhara Falls. The Laxmivan is located in the beauty of Alkapuri Glacier on the opposite side. On reaching take rest and overnight stay in camps.
Morning again start the trek and move further to Chakartirth. On arrival at the Chakartirth, Overnight stay in tents / camps.
Early morning start the trek to Saptopanth, by reaching spent the time in the fabulous surroundings of mountains and lakes. Enjoy the majestic view of the mountains with the Overnight stay in Camps / Tents.
Morning start the trek and reach to Swagaroni. Spent some time over there and return back to Satopanth. Overnight stay in Satopnath Camp / Tent.
Morning start the trek back Lamivan via Chakartirth. By reaching overnight stay will be arranged in the Camps/ Tents.
After breakfast trek back to Mana Village and catch the vehicle and drive to Badrinath. On arrival have the darshan at Badrinath and Overnight stay in hotel.
Morning after darshan and breakfast, proceed to Haridwar. Enroute visit Joshimath (Winter adobe of Badrinath Ji), Vishnuprayag, Rudraprayag, Nandprayag, Karnaprayag, Devprayag & Rishikesh.
