• Golu Devta is considered to be an incarnation of Lord Shiva, worshipped by the locals with great devotion. Devotees offer bells and written petitions, known as "tamanas," at the temple, believing that Golu Devta will fulfil their wishes.

• Jageshwar Dham is renowned for its cluster of ancient temples dedicated to Lord Shiva, dating back to the 9th to 13th centuries.
